G. Marvin Bales, CPA, CFP
G. Marvin Bales is the owner of Bales CPA, PC. He is also the CEO and an investment advisor representative of CPA Financial Planning, LLC, a registered investment advisor. He became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1988, and is also a Certified Financial Planner™ professional (CFP®) and a Certified Tax Coach (CTC).
He provides tax, accounting and financial planning services to select clients primarily in the Atlanta metro area, but also from across the USA.
Marvin acts as a fiduciary in providing investment and financial advisory services, and holds life & health insurance licenses in certain states where his clients reside. With these licenses, he is able to complete his offering of complete, coordinated financial services to his clients by providing life insurance, annuity, and long-term care insurance products if needed.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Clemson University, and in the last 35+ years has taken over 40 hours per year in continuing professional education courses to meet the various requirements as set by the state Board of Accountancy, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and the state Department of Insurance.
