G. Marvin Bales, CPA, CFP®
G. Marvin Bales is the owner of Bales CPA, PC. He became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1988, and is also a Certified Financial Planner™ professional (CFP®) and a Certified Tax Coach (CTC).
He provides tax, accounting and financial planning services to select clients primarily in the Atlanta metro area and across the USA.
Marvin holds a Series 66 investment advisor license and acts as a fiduciary in providing investment and financial advisory services. He also holds life insurance and annuity licenses in certain states where his clients reside, which allow him to complete his offering of complete, coordinated financial services to his clients when these products are needed.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Clemson University, and in the last 40+ years has taken over 40 hours per year in continuing professional education courses to meet the various requirements as set by the state Board of Accountancy, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and the state Department of Insurance.
